On the job training In our view, the fundamental training and education of employees must take place “on the job”. Other training must be organised and managed in such a way that it supports and supplements local training programmes.
Core expertise Orkla’s centralised training programmes are primarily intended to strengthen our core expertise. They teach working methods and technical and professional skills that will improve our competence in those parts of the value chain that are of the greatest importance for the Orkla Group.
We wish to develop these working methods and skills into Orkla standards. The content of our human resource development programmes is carefully adapted to our own needs and experience. . The joint development of core expertise under the auspices of the Orkla Group covers three main areas:
